It’s a special package that’s available only to our members who qualify for the First Home Owners Grant. Smart Starter gives you a whole range of exclusive benefits that last as long as your loan does.

Repayment Pause	If you are considering starting a family, then enjoy a three month break from your repayments or alternatively enjoy six months at half repayments.
Family Support Option	The Family Support Option allows your family members to use the equity in their home to provide additional security for part of your home loan, helping you to avoid Lender’s Mortgage Insurance and maximise your borrowing power. Parent's obligation. The family support guarantee can be limited to an amount nominated by the parents. In the event that the borrowers default on their loan, the parents may be liable for the amount of the family support guarantee, not the full amount of the loan.

Who can apply for the Smart Starter Package?

The Smart Starter Package has been designed specifically for borrowers who are purchasing their very first home. To qualify, borrowers must be eligible to receive the Government’s First Home Owner Grant.
